jediwho - MVP Golds and 75Ks get upgrade codes that they can gift to friends and family. What you are seeing is the link to apply those codes if you have been given one.

macfadsj - paid upgrades have been around for a long time.

But as a Gold, I don't understand why you'd be offered a paid upgrade when you should be getting one for free?
