The 4J is my all time favorite of classic hotels in Germany. Book an Alster room, the top floor having large balconies, but is slightly more expensive, worth it. No spa indeed but a most charming lobby area. "Hearlin" is worth its two Michelin stars to be enjoyed at a window table.
Agree with scented regarding Hyatt's being it Park or not do NOT belong to this forum. One thing in my quest for understanding finally the "Virtuoso" system would be to know why "Virtuoso" seems to have a very privileged relationship with Hyatt's (mostly the "park" ones). Business interests or participation?
Sorry I like the Hyatt- maybe I got a good room but I thought it was immaculate, luxury and well located in the centre. I would go back. I cant comment on other hotels here but the hyatt was very convenient for the shops and also for the train to get to the conference I was attending.. I also thought the pool was a nice addition
