Where did you guys banked your flights then? Passages?
As I mentioned elsewhere, I had to credit CX miles to ANA, because of residents in Japan could not join Pasages.

I qualified 12 business class sectors within 6 months.
In those days, CX used km unit rather than miles.

Green 40,000km or 12 sectors
Gold 60,000km or 25 sectors or 500,000km in 5years
Diamond 250,000 km or 60 sectors or 1,000,000km in 5years
Lifetime 2,000,000km/10years
