How many of those miles do you want to spend? You could fly CX or JL to Asia, and then continue (on a separate award) to IST/ATH on EY/QR.
I was thinking of flying CX on a separate trip to HK I have enough miles to do a RT in first on CX for NY-HK, but don't think I would have enough left over to make a europe stopover.
