I was upgraded 5 days out on a flight last week. PM on a B fare.

I SDC'd to an earlier flight. The agent said I'd be placed behind all DM's and all PM's on the upgrade list, but at least I'd be on the flight.

Sure enough, I ended up 6/22 for 2 seats, but I got home 5 hours earlier than I originally planned.
