Regarding the change, though-- while initially a mistake on her part (she intended to leave by the 11pm departure), it turns out that its not such a bad thing. By connecting from 206, her arrival into Bangaluru is at 9 am, versus 3:30 am via the JFK-DXB non-stop. As she is traveling by herself, she is more comfortable arriving in the morning than in the middle of the night.
