If you only knew....haha, but still I was able to get to PHNYC for about $22 and some change on Uber. Better than yellow cab by far. Also, the manager at PHNYC was able to get me a room for $150 since he didn't want us to wait until our check in that afternoon. Thank goodness he did because we weren't able to check in until after 4pm yesterday. It was super disorganized here. So, they gave us until whenever we want to leave tonight in lieu of the many mistakes they made yesterday. Wasn't very impressed with this place.
Oh by the way, our flight is at 10:20pm tonight, so we are planning to check out around 7:30pm. What is the most time and cost effective way to get to JFK? Shall I Uber again or try the F from 57th St/6th Ave to Kew Gardens to Q10 for $2.75? How much time would we need for transportation to be at the airport for check-in for our flight with cushion if we do the latter option?
The F train from 57th Street to Union Turnpike/Kew Gardens should take about 25 minutes from the time you actually board the train.

The Q10 from Kew Gardens to JFK Terminal 5 takes about 40 minutes; the Q10 Limited a few minutes less.

If you are not departing from T5, allow a few more minutes to ride the AirTrain (for free) to your departure terminal.
