Could it be they've finally fixed this problem? My refund came through yesterday for the 2 return upgrades @ $169 each. Now the system is offering me the same upgrades for $174 each and not $33 or $38 like it had been offering earlier this week.
very unlikely to be fixed system-wide, as much as you may wish it were.
another far more likely explanation for what you are seeing is the unavailability of the fare that resulted in the $33/38 offer, and you've been bumped up the fare ladder to the pricing in the next available bucket.
