I am going to get to 50 nights by the end of May to re-earn platinum and then likely start booking elsewhere if I don't get a promo. After having an ambassador in 2014, you realize 100 nights means nothing, because the ambassador isn't all that helpful (you can just call the platinum desk and get the same, if not a quicker, level of service). I travel about 10-15 minutes further from my client to stay at SPG, but if there is no real benefit, then I'll save my time and stay elsewhere.
