Red-eye mid-con Los Angeles to Dallas-Fort Worth (LAX-DFW) on American Airlines 757 in first
As I reached the gate I was paged. They had swapped my selected seat to enable an upgraded family to sit together. I had selected the bulkhead because there is no one to recline into you. I was moved to the rear row with no recline and naturally the passenger seated in front of me reclined the minute he sat down and kept his seat reclined right until landing. Grrr.
Pre-departure beverage was a choice of water or juice in a plastic cup. This was only offered once everyone was onboard. I fell asleep reasonably quickly but was woken by the announcements made after take off and before descent, so managed less than 2 hours of sleep. Ugg. I have another red-eye mid-con tonight to look forward to. Why did I do this to myself?
