Ther was an autopsy and at least a conclusion of some sort, according to CNN, that documents an indication of bleeding to death. The pathologists with whom I discussed this have said that this kind of incident being the result of a gym accident is well possible and that absent signs of a pathologist being incompetent or motivated to falsify a record that they would accept the report as is unless and until an additional autopsy review is conducted. Some of the best pathologists and doctors in this country are foreign medical school graduates, some even from Mexico. Actually, my understanding is that U.S. pathology departments tend to have a relative overrepresentation of "third world" foreign medical school graduates compared to many other departments in hospitals and large multi-specialty clinics. I know for a fact that some of our most famous medical examiners offices have relied upon a litany of "third world" medical school graduates and their work has been just as good or better than US medical school graduates. I also know that my family gets better medical care in Bangkok than we do in London, Stockholm or Geneva.
The notion that he would be alive if he avoided vacationing in "third world" countries and instead stuck to vacations in OECD countries is a laughable notion on its face.
