I think you mean disk space (not memory).
YMMV, but I have a 256GB disk. I would have gone with 128GB, but I need to run at least two VM's on this MBP and they run much faster if stored on the flash SSD (and not off an external HDD/SSD).
There is no discernible weight difference between the 128/256/512GB SSDs but there is a big cost difference. This gets to one of the things I don't like about Apple, you can't *easily* upgrade the disk later, so you pretty much have to buy it at purchase... Same with memory. Other than that, macbooks are solid machines.
