Of course OP is not the only one to experience cancellations on RapidAir routes, but unfortunately we don't have enough info to understand why. My last YUL-YYZ hop was cancelled, and both the previous and subsequent flights were down gauged. While this can be due to MX or positioning issues, it begs the question raised by OP.
