The aircraft allocation Game Plan is of course devised well in advance, and then operations refine it, sometimes days ahead, and sometimes on the spur of the moment when issues arise.

FlightRadar gets its information from filed Flight Plans, so presumably BA are now filing well in advance. For things like first-come-first-served slots it gives a bit of an advantage. Computerised plans also makes updates like aircraft detail more straightforward than before.
