Yes, I actually do want to stay for a bit in Singapore. I know some people there and I can visit them and stay with them. Not trying to kill 39 hours at the airport!

Longer would be nicer but the prices increase by a lot if I select a multi--destination trip. That 39 hour layover is one that comes up automatically if I search for DEL-LAX. I actually need to get to PHX but SQ effectively more than doubles the price just by adding a LAX-PHX leg. So, I might just use Southwest miles for that.
