Hi all, I've been collecting aeroplan for 1.5 years now, finally ready to book my first trip using it. I am looking to book a short trip to Europe in mid June. I have about 81k aeroplan now. I used ANA web site, got the following:
Jun12: Toronto-London
Jun15: London-Lisbon
Jun21: Lisbon-Toronto(Transfer at London)

1. Using aeroplan.com, it says, tax is $768. Since only London to Lisbon is non Air Canada flight, does it mean there's no way for me to avoid this tax? (as long as I am flying with AC?)
2. Any other more efficient ways to do this trip?
