So, I had a week and a half rental from Jan 28th - Feb 8th. I knew there were a ton of tolls on my road trip but I decided to pre-pay some (did so before arriving in state and registering the plates etc for the time that I'd have the car) Even purchased a Sun Pass in Florida etc.

I also paid cash for tolls in NY and Chicago/Indiana.

Just so you know I drove from NYC, to Buffalo, through Canada to Detroit, then to Chicago down Route 66 then cut over to Atlanta, Down to Orlando, Then Miami, then back up to Daytona, Myrtle Beach, Va Beach and then back to NY. Only hit tolls in NY, NJ, Chicago, Indiana, Florida and Va. Put 5000 miles ont he vehicle.

Entire trip I pre-paid or paid my tolls in cash. Apparently even though I pre-paid the toll for somereason a bridge in Portsmouth Va still took a pic of the plate and sent a bill to Hertz. Toll was 6.50 Hertz billed me 87 dollars. I refused to pay it and sent proof that I pre-paid the toll with plate number of vehicle etc. Even had proof from the Va DOT saying it was pre-paid and the bill was sent to hertz in error. I didn't hear anything back from platepass or hertz on the matter so I figured issue was taken care of and since then I had rented several times from hertz no issues.

Yesterday I try to book a reservation it wouldn't let me. I thought maybe site was having issues. This afternoon tried again same issue, was about to call in a reservation but got busy. Just checked my mail and got a letter from Back Office saying my hertz account is suspended and I lost all my points.

I called the number on the paper work and they didn't care and I just said fudge it. I'll loose my 4500 points and move elsewhere.
