Didn't Delta do something similar with SkyPriority, which was initially their branding, but then began to be used for KLM (and maybe other partner) priority security locations.
I think it became an alliance wide thing for SkyTeam.
With this, there are several European airports, like LHR and FRA (for departures and transfers) where these queues were previously only open for business and first.
