If you want an example from the western triangle of a flight cancelled in advance presumably due to low loads, check out AC205 YYC-YVR on May 16 (just cancelled within the past week or so).
Oh wow, I genuinely am surprised! I almost always have a YYZ - X (X being a rapidair destination) with a really low load as my departing flight out of YYZ is always off peak. I've never had a cancellation...like...ever!
News to me, but hey that's why i'm on FT, to learn! To the OP though, if you can share the flight you were on I'd really like to see why it was cancelled as it really would fly against the whole convenience thing that Rapidair is all about! The flights from YVR YYC YEG aren't technically RapidAir though

I completely believe you 100%, but I do find it hard to believe that Rapidair flights would be cancelled due to load factors
