I booked a stay at Le Meridien Phuket Beach with Flexible Rate+Breakfast and found the cancellation policy was 7 days before arrival.

Should it be 1 day before arrival or am i missing something? Does it vary from property to property?

It seems weird and not exactly flexible as the names implied.

Lurkers, could you clarify this please? Just curious.

PS. Even Cash and Points rate also used this cancellation policy (7-days before arrival) too. (I've never seen this before?)
