Sounds to me like a simple *A-branding of the existing priority benefits given at many airports. For example, where UA has priority access at their bigger stations, they will add "Gold Track" signage. Even though *G gets that priority security benefit anyway.

Didn't Delta do something similar with SkyPriority, which was initially their branding, but then began to be used for KLM (and maybe other partner) priority security locations.
