Seriously. As to the original question, UA would have to stop service to IAH, or I'd have to move to another city. Regardless of if I like UA or not (and personally I find it no worse than the other legacy carriers in Y), for my flying patterns UA is consistently the lowest cost carrier, controlling for travel time. Given my lack of elite status anywhere, I'm not going to fly AA to DFW and take a 1-3 hr layover to get to where I'm going and save $20. Same with DL and ATL, or WN with DAL. UA gets me where I need to go with a direct flight and usually at a similar or lower cost to the other carriers. End discussion, as far as I'm concerned.
