Don't need others to make my decisions for me.
The thing is this {unhappiness} of UA and their treatment of customers is a fairly recent phenomenon. Many of us were flying UA back during regulation days, and continued to fly them even during the tough economic times. That loyalty is why so many of us who have dropped most if not all of our UA business have millions of BIS miles with UA.

Now that they have figured out how to gouge customers and cut service, our loyalty means little to them, and they demonstrate that frequently. Some of us wish the days of the "Friendly Skies" would return, and are annoyed at how Continental dba United has ruined a once proud airline. Maybe if they lose the Texas management someday, things will improve.
