I came five years ago to UA (from DL) because of GPUs. I would leave if they take away (or reduce) the GPUs.
I love flying out of Newark (rather than JFK or LGA) - I'm based in Manhattan and Newark is the fastest airport to get to from where I live.
I also love all the nonstop flights. The UA network is basically perfect for me personally. I realize that depending on where you live UA may be terrible for you.

I'm happy if people are leaving - there are way too many elites. That is the main problem on UA. Thankfully, they are increasing capacity and getting more and bigger planes in the future (like 777-300) so things are bound to get better.
