Speculation:
If they are on the same PNR, I would guess it'd be the same. I don't think that they would all get zone 3, with the exception if someone's in zone 1/2 then everyone goes to the highest status? Then again my guess here wouldn't make sense as AC IT could probably set it as...the highest # gets assigned to all groups?
