I don't feel secure at all though. All the guidebooks I've read have said to avoid using credit cards in Vietnam due to identity theft and here I am using my debit card like a credit card. Also I've discussed my meal purchases with the agents. Also one of them suggested charging a hotel night to the card and then asking to cancel for a cash refund. This would suggest that they don't think I'm a thief. The supervisors I've talked to say that the system won't let them change the pin and that they can't ask security questions that are actually about me and not the color of my dads exwifes car.
