This is the first thread after days of searching that tackles Japan the way I am planning my trip.
Also trying to figure out if I really should stay in Osaka or Kyoto. Taking my 11 year old daughter, mostly for her and while I will insist on a castle and two main temples I know after that she is not going to be interested. For us it is food and city life that will be the highlight.
Right now I am at arriving Friday and doing Tokyo through Tuesday. Probably Tuesday at Disney Sea.Wed. head to Kyoto or Osaka as I want to also do 1 day at Universal with her and that night eat like crazy in Osaka. Otherwise another day there or two days in Kyoto which lets me return to Tokyo Saturday and fly out Sunday.
Food, Teen stuff and a few traditional themes, but modern Japan is our goal.
