Well, under the new rules, an upgrade from WTP to J is now a much less attractive use of Avios than it used to be. There are however plenty of good value spends still to be had. Off the top of my head, UuA J to F is a bit of a sweet spot, and North American redemptions in economy class are superb value (probably the best value actually).
