I concur. My most frequent flight these days is between NYC and London or Paris and I've noticed how much better I feel when I arrive in Paris. Just that extra hour and a bit really makes a difference. I've even considered flying into Paris and taking the Eurostar over to London just to be less jet-lagged for short work trips (the WT+ on OpenSkies is also a decent cabin).

It's all about how well you handle the jet-lag though. If it doesn't effect you then I'd recommend the shortest flight possible.
