Very true. Unfortunately, BA starts to grow into this as well .. and the sign is not yet ignored .
Maybe they don't have competition, but the experience will certainly stop me from using them trans Atlantic or Pacific.
They do not. No one offers cheap Biz -> F upgrades like AA does.

UA's premium cabins are not terrible, E+ however already is.

And regarding awards, eVIPs work infinitely more reliably and universally than GPUs do. Add to this the intl offerings and this turns into a AA intl F vs a UA intl Y for me.
