AA usually has their F priced appropriately. I'm based out of LAX and LAX-LHR and LAX-NRT, my most frequent international routes, are priced dramatically lower than their OW partners - BA F is usually at least twice as much as is JAL F. I just booked LAX-LHR for next week, 6800 in F and I think BA F was somewhere around 18K....Its so cheap that nobody uses aairpass for intl F on AA.
Wouldn't be surprised to see AA get rid of F in a few years...they just can't compete with partners...the most senior FAs get F on international F vs. ethiad, JAL, etc....the youngest and most suitable to serve F - no different that a Michelin rated restaurant serve F.
