Not sure why everyone is getting so worked up about the food and wine and beverage quality under the new AA. If you looked at the resume of the guy in charge now, Hector, you'd see he was in charge at US Airways and Northwest - both airlines viewed similarly for mediocre catering. So why the surprise?!?!

Frankly I'm stunned Doug & Co hasn't ripped out the bar and open area on the 773's and canceled the orders for the remaining and the Dreamliners as well. The folks running the new AA do not have the reputation for running a top-quality airline. Period.
