The plastic ones with stick out numbers made imprints on my wallet's leather slots. I have to put them in with the back side out. I don't under why they still make them that way. I had a merchant roll my card yesterday. And this is in the SF Bay Area, which is supposed to be high tech.
On a different note, as a follow-up to something I posted earlier, I did manage to get travel credit applied against my Chinese visa (for clarification, visa as in the thing you stick in your passport to get permission to enter a country, not the credit card company).
