That is exactly the type of lockdown that I would like to see avoided on FT. There was very valuable and, for me, educational information being exchanged in that thread and then...................WHAMO! It is locked down and I am not exactly sure why.

Do the Moderators have discussion prior to decisions of this nature? This seems to me to be important in these "iffy" situations.
