As cigarman has boldly assured us in writing above that "all of the FT community" has now read this thread" (!!!!) and ordered me to "give it a rest" and take a chill pill why did YOU choose to add 2 words to his reply and thus extend the life of this thread even more? And you have the temerity to mention my ego.

Will your receive an official TalkBoard reprimand for your audacity and public disobediance? Of course we will presumably never know as it will as always be done in secret.

If the TalkBoard is uncomfortable with this Forum allowing others to view or discuss the progress and numerous achievements (or otherwise) of TB, why not have a secret vote and remove the Forum? That seems the best course for you perhaps? Until then it remains the one valid Forum to pose questions re TalkBoard matters ..... correct?

Were cigarman's comments not an official TalkBoard response? If they were why did you defy the message and sign yourself as a TalkBoard member whilst defying it?

I repeat my assertion to Cigarman (as you did not seem to read it) that I have NEVER read Randy Petersen posting in THIS forum: "Let's get back to the topic of talking miles and points." If you can reference link that thread/s right here I'd be greatly appreciative Dan. Many times in other Forums he has posted that as THOSE Forums were NOT designated as a specific places to discuss TalkBoard matters. THIS one is. Big difference.

THIS Forum Dan ... like it or not is called "TalkBoard Issues: 2001/2002", and this thread is simply titled "the next vote, when?" It seems to me that your attempt and that of Cigarman to stifle discussion on this VERY simple question is better suited to the way things North Korea is run than the USA.

Sorry, but I will not be dictated to by you or cigarman or any other FlyerTalker as to what threads I choose to post on, and how often, as long as I abide by the TOS whilst posting.

Finally Dan, seeing you did just admit to us that for Talkboard: "there's not much work out there", perhaps the many calls for the experiment to be now abandoned are indeed well timed by your admission? One (1) Flyertalker disagrees and that is the total score I can tally here.
