two crew in cockpit?

After the events of the Germanwings flight a few months back did BA implement the system of two crew in the flight deck at all times? On a very recent short haul flight the captain was out the cockpit numerous times and for a while (toilet and a bread roll for example) and neither of the crew members went in to cover. Sitting in row 1 I had a very clear view of this and to be honest felt slightly uneasy given what happened.

The only time there was any action taken was when one of flight crew wanted a drink whilst queuing for takeoff and the curtain was pulled when the flight deck door was open.

Not accusing anyone of wrongdoing but just wondered given the world got quite a shock a few weeks back and my mind instantly went back to that when I saw it.
