I used to have good luck getting and redeeming Expedia's $50 "Best Price Guarantee" coupons. I tried to redeem a coupon tonight and it was virtually impossible. Almost every hotel both overseas and domestic did not allow me to redeem the coupon from the normal drop down menu.

In the past, the hotel had to be an "Expedia Special Rate"--but this was designated by the "Expedia Rate" label on the property in Expedia's search results. Now it's like looking for a needle in a haystack. Is Expedia purposefully making these coupons impossible to redeem?
