Not really immune- I know I do it sometimes (spend more because it goes on a CC) but at the end of the month I have to answer to my real boss (my wife) as to why I bought that video game or etc because it's clear as day what I spent it on. Now if I had some cash in my wallet I could buy the game and it never shows up on our budget.
Just saying our budget is entirely digital- credit cards are much easier to track digitally than cash spending so our credit card spending is critiqued much more heavily than our cash spending.
