I like the quirky nature of the hotel and the sometimes odd shaped rooms - it's part of the character.

The staff are a lot more attentive since the new GM started earlier this year. It wasn't bad before - just unpredictable.

I have to agree that the breakfast is no longer very good. We used to enjoy the Eastway breakfast but that is now only available for brunch on a Saturday so it's just 1901. Breakfast last time was so bad that we have decided that next time we are going to have breakfast at Spitalfields Market.
