You might get that past the gate reader, but it may be a bit complicated getting that "fix" past security - and explaining it if questioned .. I have visions of the Black Knight in Monty Python - "go on, cut the other one off - see if I care - I'll get on this plane using this bloody watch even I have to cut everything off" (disclaimer not intended to insult or offend -- not a real Python quote, just inspired by..).
