A few months ago, my wife (who is MVP Gold 75K) booked AS 34 - SEA to ORD - May 22. Last night, I received a notification that U space opened up, but her upgrade had not cleared, so I called AS and they pushed it through.

Then this morning, I received notification that U space opened up for another flight she booked, AS 611 - LAS to SEA - April 30. Again, her upgrade did not clear, so I called AS. The representative that I spoke with (Valery) stated that she was aware of the issue with upgrades not being processed. She also said that she has not been pushing upgrades through for the concern about line-jumping, but said that she would do it in this case because my wife was MVP Gold 75K.

Additionally, the way she got it pushed through was to add my wife to the upgrade list again. Note that she did NOT take my wifeoff the list first, because we were concerned that some other 75K'er would jump ahead.

I am really glad that I set alerts to monitor U space for all of our flights and plan to make that a regular practice moving forward!
