Out of interest was this a cash booking or a redemption? If a redemption, was the avios required based on the old rates or new rates?
It was a cash booking, done in the January sale. Avios required is the new rate (25k per person).
I did have the option to upgrade the return too but thought that the overnight flight might not be worth it as there is no First lounge at UVF (although it would I assume have given us CCR access at Heathrow prior to the return flight to Edinburgh).
