I have do this a number of times in the previous terminal which was quite straight forward - just walk up the stairs.
However, I was told by my sister that she was escorted to clear immigration into Philippine, and clear again to exit Philippine. I have another friend telling me that he didn't.
I did a 907/906 turnaround last April. You will be escorted from the gate, I didn't clear immigration (maybe because I was carrying a PHL passport) although we did go to the immigration office and had someone sign some paperwork. Then I was escorted by the Immigration officer and CX Ground staff through the Transit Security (no one was manning it at that time, so we had to wait a bit for an X-ray operator to come down from the departure hall), after that I was taken to the departure gate and endorsed to the departure ground staff.
