The RON A/c needs to have enough 'crew rest' time though before departing, as I imagine there's a late night flight into MFR.
There are creative ways to do this. SkyWest gets around the rest rules by having flights scheduled as "continuous work."

They do things like get in at midnight and leave at 6:00 AM, and the crew is working like a very long sit in a city. They get a hotel room for the short overnight.
