IIRC in the pack there was the blurb about Qantas Club membership and not paying the joining fee also I think that your "current" membership ends 30 June 2015 so a renewal will take that to 30 June 2016.
Of course I maybe confusing that with NZ Koru Club membership as that was the last time I had this happen to me 4 years ago while QP membership renewal was around 8 years ago.
