So I just flew back from MSP last Wednesday for work and here's an update on the LAX thing from the uber driver (who seemed informed):

--Ubers can now legally pick up from Sepulveda Blvd outside the airport. So if you walk out past Park N' Ride, you should be able to request one. If you can't, you might have to walk a block closer to around 98th and Sepulveda (like I did) to request it.

--Ubers can, as always still drop off for departures at LAX. Don't try to flag one down without using the app. Drivers won't pick up under any circumstances as it's a major fine.

--By June, Uber can drop and pick up at all terminals. Supposedly they won their case against the cab union ^

Also taking a hotel bus to around where the Four Points is where most of the Ubers post up. I think that's 96th and Aviation.
