Swapping seats between classes

About 2 months ago, I took QR from LHR in Y and was sitting at the first row window seat. A white girl sat next to me and apparently her father was in business class. I am pretty sure they bought their tickets in different classes because business wasn't full and he refused to pay the fare difference, instead, he nagged the purser to upgrade his daughter to business, obviously it didn't work out.

During the flight, they swapped seats at the middle of the flight when meal service ends, after that the man who was initially in the front had the business class wine and glass in economy. The cabin crew put the business class menu in front of his seat and even offered him to have business class breakfast before landing! I think the girl ordered things on the 'all-day menu' as 'snacks' as well because she barely ate anything during the first meal service in economy.

I felt so insecure and annoyed because I had different people sitting next to me and I think its very unfair to other J passengers, I wouldn't want anyone to have the same class of service when they are not entitled to it.

I read an article on CX and this is strictly not allowed due to security and food distribution reason therefore I wrote a complaint to QR and that's what I got back after 2 weeks of waiting.

On the other hand we are seriously concerned with your report regarding what you feel as unbecoming behavior of the cabin crew staff on board QRXXX/XXXXXX2015. Comments of this nature are rare, as our staff are continuously trained to provide excellent customer service in all areas and to make sure that security issue are applied. We take this opportunity to inform you, as per the received report from out cabin crew performance management, that the incident was recorded and investigated immediately on board. However, the issue was related to a medical assistance and attention.

Are you f**king kidding me? medical assistance that a girl has to have business food? I really hope QR can be responsible to such things when it happens, they can't just keep giving me random excuses

I hope this post can be seen by the QR cabin crews, please don't do it as I will definitely complain about you if it happens again. I know we have a lot of British flyers on this board, please pass this on to the kind dad if you know who he is
