Got a ride between gates at MSP the other day. Definitely doesn't suck, and I too was very surprised by it.

It did cause me a inner DYKWIA moment though- I grabbed a mocha at Caribou and then wandered back to my gate, at which point a couple who had deplaned before me on my inbound got to the gate and I was treated to much the same look I imagine was on my face when the Porsche driver was looking for me...
