Never paid more than $300 for a non-stop flight and would have been booked by now. This year, the same flight is $569. There's a lot of time for that fare to move up or down.

JetBlue doesn't provide the same level of price competition that Southwest did;
and
AA Revenue Management may be more eager to exploit a near-monopoly position on a business route that was US RM.

One can hope that for the success of B6 on the route that they have built up a decent pax base and don't need to offer dirt cheap fares to fill planes. But this 1 example doesn't necessarily show that.
