No. As others posted non-retrofit 772s do not have Wi-Fi. In fact, there is little new on those planes.

Correct. Miles, points, CoS bonus, promo points and 1,000 bonus miles (I'm PLT) all were already in my account when I turned my phone on in PEK.

ETA: On the other hand, lack of decent IFE or Wi-Fi has probably contributed to me sleeping full 7 hrs on that flight.
